They're coming for you next.

For all you anti-smokers and the righteous out there that like Alcohol, are overweight, or like salt on your fish and chips,  you’re next.
godberframe
The pic above is the template that is being used to scare you shitless that whatever you do is wrong and to make you ashamed of that little vice you have.
The powers that be, governments and many multinational organisations including the Club of Rome and  their agenda 21, have realised how scare tactics can keep you, the little people, under control. There is no study that has proved that ETS has actually killed anyone, but if you tell a lie enough times and appear to have authority, then people will actually believe it.

Now that they have de-normalised smokers, the politburo of public health have seen that their template has worked and now they're slowly trying it on other products that offend their nu-puritan ethos.

Traffic light labelling on food, health warnings on labels and minimum pricing off alcohol, and laughably less holes on salt cellars.

We are fast becoming the most miserable people in the world where everything you consume is deemed bad for you. There's been a complete switch from curing the sick to trying to prevent them being sick at all. They don't seem to see that what they might gain in physical health is matched by a rise in guilt and misery on the mental side of the equation. We do not need such a a worry in these difficult times.

I could also write about the fuel poverty we will come to experience in the next few years to barking mad policies to satisfy the green nut jobs.

However it is Easter Sunday, and I think it best not to swear on this day.

Trimming the Fat.

It would seem that some councils and NHS trusts are now deciding that their obesity programmes are too expensive to carry on with.

A weight-loss programme that has helped thousands of obese children is being scrapped by some cash-strapped trusts.

There is too much state interference in how we live as it is.

Of course we have the howls of anguish coming from those anxious to keep their jobs at any cost.

Rachael McGrath, from Mend, warned that evidence-based obesity programmes are vital in preventing children developing chronic diseases such as diabetes. She said: "Being overweight in childhood is one of the biggest risks to a child's current and future health.

Children who are above a healthy weight are much more likely to become obese adults and are at a greater risk of developing chronic diseases such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and some types of cancer. With obesity already costing the NHS £4.2 billion each year, it's critical to continue investing in child obesity services."

Here’s some of their Funding partners.

  • Big Lottery Fund

  • Department of Health (West Midlands)

  • Department of Work and Pensions

  • National Skills Academy

  • National Sports Foundation

  • Sport England

  • Welsh Assembly Government

Unfortunately I can’t find anywhere on their site that shows their accounts.

In my opinion there is enough material out in the wild about how we can live healthier without a need for these parasites. It should be the parents taking responsibility for their Children. Not abrogating their responsibility to outsiders.

Now if the councils could also get rid of their “Smoking Cessation Officers”, “Outreach Co-coordinators” (Whatever they are?), & “Alcohol Awareness Partners, we could all live in a happier, and more responsible world where we make our own decisions about our life style.

Ban ban ban.

It’s all we ever hear these days.

The latest stupid, idiotic idea is…………………..

A health minister has suggested banning cars from streets on Sundays to revive outside play for children and tackle obesity.

Public health minister Anne Milton proposed road closures to get youngsters off their computers and enjoying sport and other physical activities.

What is it with these people? And where did she get this idea from?

"On Sundays they close certain streets in Colombia so that everybody can play in them. That is an outstanding idea".

FFS Columbia. They probably shut the streets to get their “product” to the drug boats quicker.

Good health news at last.

chocolate

It would appear that eating chocolate is good for you. Wow.

A study of nearly 50,000 people found that those eating chocolate were 22 per cent less likely to suffer a stroke than those that didn't.

And those who did suffer a stroke but had indulged in chocolate were 46 per cent less likely to die as a result.

Well I never.

Still I'm sure that the fat police will come up with some refutation in due course.

Healthy eating.

The Super Scooby, Britain's largest burger with 2,645 calories. It is sold by the Jolly Fryer takeaway in Bristol and they are offering a free can of Diet Coke to anyone who can finish it in one go.

I don't know whether the health faschists have seen this. I'm not going to snitch.
The down side, is that I might end up with every Nut job arriving here.
Kerry McCarthy take note.

They stoop even lower

How can they get away with such a hate video as this.

NHS Birmingham North & East 'Fight Back' anti-smoking advert directed by photographer Rankin, in which a smoker is shown being beaten up by an invisible assailant as he smokes a cigarette

Maybe it should be classified as a hate crime against smokers? It encourages violence to smokers.

Fun

Just don't get ill

If you ever have to be interned in the NHS, let this be a warning to you.

I do hope I don't get called into Matron's office this evening for a dressing down since the blog appears to have gone mainstream. Time to put the tin hat on, I think.

Just visit here and be afraid, very afraid.

Now when I'm ill I'll have to be a fruit bat

From the Guardian

Now some pompous twat, from the Sustainable development unit, (Eyes roll) has decided that he is going to jump on to the climate change bandwagon, by taking meat off the menus in Hospital.

"This is not just about doing things more efficiently, it's about doing things differently, because efficiency is not going to get us to big cuts," said Pencheon. "What will healthcare look like in 2030-2040 in a very low carbon society? It will not look anything like it looks now."

He then finishes off with

"As one of the world's largest organisations, the NHS has a national and international imperative to act in order to make a real difference and to set an important example."

Surely the pontificating C**t should be there to treat me, (I like meat) in my old age. What is international about our health service? Oh, I forgot, we have to treat all those health tourists who haven't paid a penny in NI contributions.
