They don’t belong to the parents.

That is, Children, it seems.

Suppose you have a child that has a brain tumour and the doctors at the hospital your child is in, refuse to consider other forms of treatment other than radiotherapy.

Bearing in mind that you are sick with worry over your child’s health, but notwithstanding, have spent hours looking for more effective therapy. And then you see a new form of treatment that is now available but is in it’s infancy in the UK.

What do you do?

You research for available facilities and find that there is such a facility in Czeckoslavkia (Spelling?) which will charge you for the treatment.

You remove the child from the hospital.

You travel to Spain in order to sell a property to raise the money for the treatment.

However in the meantime the British state machine decides that because of this breach of “their” interpretation of what is neglect, issue a European arrest warrant for neglecting your child.

You are arrested by the Spanish police.

To me this is George Orwell’s 1984 becoming fact rather than fiction. What I can’t understand is that the MSM seem to imply that this is how it should be. In my mind the state should only step in when there is serious, premeditated harm to children. They should never, ever, intrude in the judgement of the parents of a child, to attempt to get the best care for the child.

But then this is the result of the failure of government to reign in the bloated departments of the state. NHS, Social services, etc. And the increasing stupidity of those in the Police farce.

If this runs on, as I hope it does. I would like to see:

A thorough investigation into the social services personal involved, with sacking considered.

The medicos involved, suspended until a full investigation is carried out as to what their input to social services was.

The Police team who instigated a European arrest warrant citing “neglect” by the parents (patently false), suspended until a formal investigation has been conducted. (preferably with out pay).

The Magistrate that sanctioned the arrest warrant should immediately stand down until all of the above have been investigated.

Conclusion:

It amazes me that we are walking into a totalitarian state and the majority of the people don’t seem to see it. This story is just another example of the trouble we have brought upon ourselves.

I would remind anyone who reads this blog, consider the following:

Banning smoking in cars.

Cut down on sugar.

And salt (bearing in mind that if you cut salt out completely, you die).

Global warming. (Pity it stopped 17 years ago).

I’m not going to carry on. Those are just examples of how the state controls you.

I just hope the poor little boy gets well.

Lets play by their rules.

I wrote a post a few days ago titled “Rules is rules”. One commenter took me to task (politely) by stating that if we don’t abide by our civilised rules we would demean ourselves.

The problem with this type of argument is that is based on the rules that were agreed several centuries ago by men of principles on both sides. Today no such agreement exists between radical Islam and the civilised people of the West.

On the one side you have the civilised west doing their best to abide by the Geneva convention and protect innocent civilians by limiting their considerable fire power to enable that protection.

On the other side you have fanatics that don’t give a damn whether civilians are killed, and even seem to revel in it.

Therefore I cannot change my mind that something radical must be done.

We are fighting a modern type of warfare that we are unwilling to embrace. The only way to fight this war is by sheer, overwhelming firepower that will terrify the enemy. Whatever it takes, it has to be done.

It’s time we stopped deluding ourselves that there is a level playing field in this type of conflict.

So lets send down a message of shock and awe onto ISIS, just for starters.

Rules is Rules.

Why do we fight wars against terrorists with rules that were written by civilised nations? I think we in the West should publically inform organisations such as Islamic State, that we want to play fair, so we will apply their rules.

I know that this must sound awful to some bleeding heart liberals, but why do we treat wounded prisoners of these organisations the same as our wounded. Just cut their throats and leave them to go to their 74 virgins. That’s what they tell us they want anyway.

We should also be questioning why other Islamic states in the region are keeping quiet over the current crisis. We should be asking them one direct question:

Do you support or abhor the actions of IS?

A simple yes or no will do.

If no, then ask them why they are not doing anything to stop this brutal killing of innocents.

If yes, then politely tell them that they are now the enemy and accept that they must share the consequences.

Maybe an ultimatum. Give them one week to assist in the destruction of IS or one of their Holy cities will be nuked.

(Bit extreme, but I really feel that we in the civilised nations are fighting with our hands behind our backs).

SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE

The Queen arrives in Glasgow and she bumps into Alex Salmond.

HMtQ says "How nice to see you Mr Salmond"

AS says "Nice to see you too Ma'am, Now, what are we going to call Scotland after we win Independence? How about calling it a Kingdom, and then I will be a King?"

HMtQ "No, we don't like that"

AS "What about an Empire? Then I'll be the Emperor".

HMtQ " No, we don't like that either"

AS " Alright then, what about calling it a Principality? Then I'll be a Prince"

HMtQ " No Mr Salmond, I think we will call it a Country".

Who said this?

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

“Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”

The man in the moon lives!

An eagle-eyed person has spotted what looks like the a human on the surface of the moon.

Using the Google Moon programme (like Google Earth but mapping out the moon instead, unsurprisingly), they stumbled across a dark outline that looks suspiciously like a man stood among the grey craters.

Now, we are aware there are probably a thousand things this could be other than a man having a stroll on the moon, but it really does look like a human – it even has a shadow.

Why?

Why do supermarkets make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?

why

Why do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke?

Why do banks leave vault doors open and then chain the pens to the counters?

why2

Why do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds in our driveways and put our useless junk in the garage?

If you’re a smoker…….

and you want to help a fellow smoker sue the Scottish government you might want to go HERE .

We have a warrior, a warrior with balls I might add, as Alan Auld from Aberdeen has decided that enough is enough and wants to challenge the legal system for he says that “the smoking ban has totally ruined his social life” and has set out to sue the Scottish government for the princely sum of £1,000,000. I applaud him.After all, we already know, from a Scottish MSP no less, that smoking bans had nothing to do with the health of bar workers or anyone else for that matter!

You might want to donate to his fighting fund. If nothing else it force the PTB to realise that there are a lot of people (20% of the population) that really hate them.

The open register.

A couple of days ago I received a letter from my district council confirming that I was registered to vote. All well and good. That’s me free to vote for UKIP if I so wish.

However there was another section informing me that unless I opted out, I would also be on the “Open Register”. On reading the blurb it would mean that the council would be able to sell information about me to any Tom, Dick, or Harry, whenever they saw fit.

Users of the open register include:

  • Businesses checking the identity and address details of people who apply for their services such as insurance, goods hire and property rental, as well as when they shop online;
  • Businesses selling age-restricted goods or services, such as alcohol and gambling online, to meet the rules on verifying the age of their customers;
  • Charities and voluntary agencies, for example to help maintain contact information for those who have chosen to donate bone marrow and to help people separated by adoption to find each other;
  • Charities, to help with fundraising and contacting people who have made donations;
  • Debt collection agencies when tracing people who have changed address without telling their creditors;
  • Direct marketing firms when maintaining their mailing lists;
  • Landlords and letting agents when checking the identity of potential tenants;
  • Local councils when identifying and contacting residents;
  • Online directory firms to help users of the websites find people, such as when reuniting friends and families;
  • Organisations tracing and identifying beneficiaries of wills, pensions and insurance policies;
  • Private sector firms to verify details of job applicants.

They must be joking if they think they can get me to agree to the above.

Anyone else received such a missive yet?
