Kent’s crime rate soars.

By one.
This is the dastardly offender.

She really looks like a hardened criminal doesn’t she?
What is the heinous offence that she’s committed?

Bob Allen’s daughter Lily-May was playing outside her home in Manston Road on Monday afternoon, when a police car pulled up next to her.

Officers told Lily-May that her hopscotch markings were illegal.

FFS.
Mind I bet that those Officers are in for a rough time in the Police canteen when they are identified. I really think that those Officers fucking idiots in blue should be hauled up in front of their Inspector and then be sent for re-education. Preferably not in Kent.

UPDATE:

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "The officer concerned has been advised and accepted that it was wrong to advise the young girl that chalking a hopscotch grid was not criminal damage.
"We have explained this to Mr Allen and are keeping him updated."

A fitting punishment would be for the officer concerned be condemned to play hopscotch in her school at lunchtime, for a week.

Holes

Since the summer (Don’t laugh), the roads in Kent have deteriorated to almost third world status. Everywhere you go there are whole (snigger) sections of road that have been shorn of the top surface. But that’s not the worst of it.

Potholes are becoming a dangerous menace. I think they’re actually breeding. Some are several centimetres deep. I certainly wouldn’t like to be a cyclist. The council say they are working on the problem but obviously not in my area.

Now that we have had a flurry of global warming, ie snow, the roads are even worse to drive on. The problem is that  snow filled potholes are like traversing a minefield without a mine detector.

I wonder how much Kent has spent of it’s road budget? I must ask.

Seen sense at last then?

Another hospital that has realised that the ban on smoking in the grounds is unenforceable. This time it is mine that has seen sense.

SMOKING and hospitals are unavoidably intertwined.

Yet people lighting up outside Tunbridge Wells Hospital sends a hypocritical message and leaves local NHS bosses in an awkward position.

Who would begrudge a dying man a cigarette that will do him no more harm?

Or can we really expect patients to trudge 10 minutes through the car park until they are on public land before lighting up?

That is part of an article penned in my local paper. I wonder if the reporter is a smoker? Though I don’t think he/she realises that trying to stop people in the open air on their grounds is unenforceable in law anyway. It’s not enclosed and is public land.
