Are AGW proponents world traitors?

Do I need my tinfoil hat again? I just don't know. It would appear that a hacker managed to obtain various E mails and other records from the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit. If these are true then it could expose the AGW proponents into becoming the greatest traitors to mankind in all history.

If it is proved, then I would like the likes of Al Gore, Tony Blair, all other leaders, and those scientists who have proposed this lunacy, to be tried in the criminal court in the Hague. Not just for fraud on an unimaginable scale, but for treason against the world. And then hanged.

Am I being too harsh?

Council Ducks out of fining Vanessa

On a recent post I highlighted the case of Vanessa Kelly who was given a fixed penalty notice by sandwell council for the Fowl (Pun intended) offence of feeding the ducks at her local park.

Thanks to the help of Big brother watch, Sandwell council have backed down.

Vanessa £75 fine is to be dropped along with similar penalties imposed on six other people in Smethwick Hall Park.

Alex Deane, Director of Big Brother Watch, said:

“We are delighted, if unsurprised, that Sandwell Council have admitted defeat in this matter; and we are glad that Vanessa can go on with her life without this ludicrous fine hanging over her head.

“However I am concerned that Sandwell are still intending to issue fixed penalty notices to people who try and feed the ducks in this park.

“Feeding birds is not a crime and people who do it are not criminals. Until Sandwell and other councils around the country stop trying to criminalise everyday pursuits, there will be more cases just like Vanessa’s.”

Paul Clarke and the MSM. Or not

I do find it strange how the MSM have not picked up on the Paul Clarke case.

A former soldier who handed a discarded shotgun in to police faces at least five years imprisonment for "doing his duty".

Paul Clarke, 27, was found guilty of possessing a firearm at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday – after finding the gun and handing it personally to police officers on March 20 this year.

Is there something that the Blogosphere have missed about this that we don't know about?

I seem to remember the sound bite politics of a certain Anthony Lynton Blair, when he wanted to have the Police march yobs to cashpoints.

However this could be worse:

This might mean an apology to a victim, a penalty agreed with parents or digging the garden of the person whose fence they have knocked down. But in other circumstances, they would give police more 'formal options'.

And the last thing I want is the little bastard in my garden casing the joint.

Mr Grayling said the Tories would allow police to impose grounding orders, instant community penalties and temporary confiscation of property, such as mobile telephones and iPods.

Grounding orders: Whose going to enforce them. Didn't work for the Asbo, did it?
Instant community penalty: Who decides that then?
Confiscation of property: They'll just shop lift a bit more often. If they get caught they will receive a fine and just do another heist.

More sound bite politics. Better to bring back deportation. They'd better wear something warm as I'd send them to Antartica, the little bastards.

It's still a travesty of justice

Referring to my last post: Another stupidity below.

A man who found a loaded gun linked to a gangland shooting was told by Scotland Yard to carry it across south London to a police station.

What's the difference between the two cases?

In one case a person is told to carry the firearm to the police station even though he was in danger from gang members.

The other case is the ex soldier who voluntarily takes a sawn off shot gun, dumped in his garden, to a police station, and faces five years imprisonment.

Answer: No difference. They are both caused by the incompetance of the Police and the CPS. Oh and the Judge who should have defied the stupidity of this ridiculous law and thrown the case out.
