A Scotsman, an Englishman and a Frenchman are having a discussion about manners and composure.
The Scotsman says "The height of self-control is to come home to find your wife having sex with some other man, and not thumping him."
The Englishman say "The epitome of politeness when entering the bedroom to find your wife making love to another man, is to simply say 'Do carry on' and calmly leave.
The Frenchman says "The essence of sang-froid is when a husband catches his wife in the heights of ecstasy making wild passionate love to another man, and the husband says 'Do carry on' ... and then I do."
Reminds me somewhat of this old joke:
