Sierra club v the truth.

As you can see if you watch the above video, the President of the Sierra Club, has decided that the science of global warming is settled. When told that for the last eighteen years satellites have shown no rise in global temperatures he falls back on the ridiculous idea that the science is settled. Science is never settled. Otherwise the sun would still be orbiting a flat earth.

Musical interlude with a touch of climate change.

Actually the earth hasn’t warmed for 18 years now. (Admitted reluctantly by the UK Met Office)

Sunday, 31 March 2013

What if......

We're heading for a new ice age?

All we've be led to believe over the last twenty years is that we are all going to die because of catastrophic global warming. What if all those overpaid scientists are wrong, and we've been heading in the wrong direction?

I mean where is this warming in the last three years? Where are the drier summers (UK)?

The truth is that we have had three abysmal years in a row of wet and cold conditions. In fact the beginning of this year has been the coldest year in the last 208 years.

German meteorologists say that the start of 2013 is now the coldest in 208 years.
If this is true then our Governments, past and present, have some serious questions to be asked.

1. Why, with all the resources at your disposal, did you get it so disastrously wrong?

2. In light of this fact, will you now order the mass building of conventional power stations to cover the looming energy gap?

3. Will you now withdraw funding from those organisations and persons that have promoted and encouraged this myth of Global warming? (University of East Anglia, and the Chief Scientist spring to mind).

4. Will you you now close down, or at least re-order the Department of Energy and Climate change? And sack the head of.

5. Will you immediately stop the building of anymore Bird Mincers Wind Turbines, and insist that as the existing ones breakdown, no money will be wasted on their repair?

6. Feed in Tariffs. Will you remove these forthwith?

7.. And Finally. Will you make a fulsome apology for believing this scam? On the front page of all the MSM for a minimum of at least one week would be the very least you can do..

I'm not holding my breath.

The Boy Who Cried Warming

A little eight minute trailer just to show how so many have been brainwashed to believe everything they're told without questioning it. A must watch. Includes polar bears (White fluffy animals that are dying I tell you.), & doomsday predictions questioned (We were all going to freeze).

Worth a watch.

I thought science was settled on climate change.

Obviously not warmists. I think this little snippet will further your downfall.

WASHINGTON, May 1 (UPI) -- A 10-year research plan outlined by the White House will focus on how human economic activity influences climate change, the administration said.

The White House said it formalized a 10-year strategic plan for the U.S. Global Change Research Program. The plan will focus on the relationship between human economic activity and global climate change.

So all you warmist twats who disagree with us sceptics, just look to your consciences.

Global warming simplified.

Below are three YouTube vids that explain in laymen's  terms why we should not be panicking over Global warming, Climate Change, or any other phrase the watermelons want to throw at us. (Green on the outside, red in the inside) Dr David Evans explains in simple terms (And I like simple, as I’m only an engineer).

Now I know that there is over 30 mins of viewing below, but it’s well worth the watch.

And the politics which you’re not shown.

What do you think? Are you a supporter of sites such as Desmogblog (Author spits and washes his mouth out with soap and water), or have you an open mind.

I’ve told you so.

pylon

All this green energy is going to cost you even more than you thought..

Households will have to pay an extra £60 in bills to cover the cost of connecting windfarms and other renewable energy sources to the National Grid, the industry regulator warned today.

Energy bills will almost certainly have to increase to make Britain's ageing national electricity and gas networks “fit for purpose” in the era of climate change, according to Ofgem.

I’ve written before about the Operation and maintenance costs before. Here, here, and here

Now of course with those pesky wind farm not delivering a steady output (If any output at all), we will have to build a smart grid to match.

It says about £32 billion needs to be spent on modernising the networks over the next decade, more than twice the amount invested in the past 20 years.

And don’t forget the increased maintenance cost of all these new power lines in out of the way, exposed places.

I don’t believe it.

bear-article_1555847c

As my one reader will note I’m somewhat of a skeptic/denier (insert ad Hominem attack here), when it comes to man made Global warming.

For those who would disagree, I give you a little pamphlet for you to read. Then have a think whether you have been conned or not. Make up your own mind.

So he hoped it wouldn't be noticed, I suppose?

pachauri2

It really takes the biscuit.

Rajendra Pachauri was told that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment that the glaciers would disappear by 2035 was wrong, but he waited two months to correct it. He failed to act despite learning that the claim had been refuted by several leading glaciologists.

The IPCC’s report underpinned the proposals at Copenhagen for drastic cuts in global emissions.

It makes you wonder what else he hasn't been telling us.

And the article ends with this bit of bluster.

“And within three or four days, we were able to come up with a clear and a very honest and objective assessment of what had happened. So I think this presumption on your part or on the part of any others is totally wrong. We are certainly never — and I can say this categorically — ever going to do anything other than what is truthful and what upholds the veracity of science.”

Dr Pacharui has also been accused of using the error to win grants worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Bring it on.

Colder

An interesting website showing the underlying cooling that has been going on over the last decade. Lots of interesting links to a plethora of articles.

The article is here. Nicely set out and simple to read.

Wind turbine statues.

The temperature here is now -3 degrees and a high pressure system is sitting over us at the moment. What will those sodding monstrosities be doing right now?

Sweet fuck all.

And all political parties want to build more of those costly, ugly, and useless machines?

Lord Monkton's letter to the Prime Minister of Australia

A very well written letter by Lord Monkton to the Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd. In it he sets out very precisely why no action should be taken in regards to the supposed AGW theory.

I've created a link to it here on the What's Up With That site

The world could do with more CO2, not less.

A simple little vid that shows that a higher concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere would be beneficial to plant life and therefore the biosphere. Ie, bigger plants, more animal food, more grain, etc.

Lord Monkton on Climategate

A very, very good article written by Lord Monkton of Brenchley, summarising the Climategate scandals. Well structured article with graphs to establish why the world is not warming as we have been led to believe.

This week, the world’s governing class – its classe politique – will meet in Copenhagen, Denmark, to discuss a treaty to inflict an unelected and tyrannical global government on us, with vast and unprecedented powers to control all once-free world markets and to tax and regulate the world’s wealthier nations for its own enrichment: in short, to bring freedom, democracy, and prosperity to an instant end worldwide, at the stroke of a pen, on the pretext of addressing what is now known to be the non-problem of manmade “global warming”.

It's a PDF file and can be found at this website:

CLIMATEGATE: CAUGHT GREEN-HANDED!

By the way, I don't see much in the MSM, apart from advertising the Copenhagen conference. They really have been caught napping by the Blogosphere.

Lab Rats at the Altar of Climate Change

I've just been looking through the documents hacked from the CRU at the University of East Anglia and would like to draw your attention to this PDF. It's a policy document setting out how to change our behaviour in respect to the climate change debate. Here are some snippets from it.

The Rules of the Game

Climate change must be ‘front of mind’ before persuasion works
Currently, telling the public to take notice of climate change is
as successful as selling tampons to men. People don’t realise
(or remember) that climate change relates to them.
Use both peripheral and central processing
Attracting direct attention to an issue can change attitudes, but
peripheral messages can be just as effective: a tabloid snapshot
of Gwyneth Paltrow at a bus stop can help change attitudes to
public transport.
Link climate change mitigation to positive
desires/aspirations
Traditional marketing associates products with the aspirations of
their target audience. Linking climate change mitigation to home
improvement, self-improvement, green spaces or national pride are
all worth investigating.
Use transmitters and social learning
People learn through social interaction, and some people are
better teachers and trendsetters than others. Targeting these
people will ensure that messages seem more trustworthy and are
transmitted more effectively.

And now they seek to enlist the help of Doctors

We need trusted organisations and individuals that the media can
call upon to explain the implications of climate change to the
UK public.
Now we scare the little girl to death with a bedtime story involving drowning bunnies.

Another classic marketing rule: changing behaviour by
disseminating information doesn’t always work, but emotions
and visuals usually do.
Let's have some "smart" meters thrown in, so we can wallow in our shame at destroying the Planet.
Make climate change a ‘home’ not ‘away’ issue
Climate change is a global issue, but we will feel its impact at home –
and we can act on it at home.
And finally, just keep repeating the lies over, and over, and over, and .................

Everyone must use a clear and consistent
explanation of climate change
The public knows that climate change is important, but is less clear
on exactly what it is and how it works.

You can find the article on this site. Fuckterra

It's down at the bottom and called New Rules, New Game

And if you want a complete breakdown of Climategate the fairy tale. Do read this, it's fascinating reading

CBS reports on Climategate

It reports that the head of the CRU at the University Of East Anglia is to temporarily step down from his position.

Phil Jones, the head of the Climactic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, said on Tuesday that he will relinquish his post while the U.K. school conducts an investigation into allegations of scientific and professional misconduct.

Notice he is only temorarily standing down. I suspect there will be some sort of whitewash and everything will return to normal. Now if that had been me, and I'd done nothing wrong, they'd have to drag me kicking and screaming from the building.

The reverberations have extended beyond the campus of the University of East Anglia and the CRU. E-mail messages from Michael Mann, a professor in the meteorology department at Penn State University who has argued that mankind is threatening "entire ecosystems with extinction in the decades ahead if we continue to burn fossil fuels at current rates," appeared in the leaked files. Now Penn State has opened an investigation into Mann's work, and the U.K.'s weather agency has been forced on the defensive as well.
I'm sure they all think that it will just melt away.

Hans von Storch, director of the Director of Institute for Coastal Research who was assailed by Mann in one e-mail message, calls the CRU axis a "cartel" and suggests that Jones and others avoid reviewing papers. A colleague, Eduardo Zorita, went further and said Mann and his allies "should be barred" from future United Nations proceedings and warned that "the scientific debate has been in many instances hijacked to advance other agendas."
Yes it's not really about climate change at all. It's all about Power, Control, and Oodles of money.

And to finish, scientists and politicians endorsing dramatic limits on economic growth to limit carbon dioxide have been reminded where the burden of proof properly lies.

Note: Just in case there are any warmists here. That is water vapour emanating from the cooling towers in the top picture, not smoke.

Am I becoming a single issue Blogger

No not really. It's just that I have been skeptical of the whole "Global cooling", "Global warming", "Climate change ", bandwagon that has been happily rolling along, unquestioned until now.

Just to add more to the debate I'm adding the link to another country that seems to be waking up to the scam. Here is a link to Barking Moonbat . This time it is new Zealand.

The other subject I'm keeping an eye on at the moment is the one concerning Paul Clarke who was arrested, charged, and convicted of handing in a firearm. This heinious offence has a minimum sentence of 5 years. You can read my original post here.

H/T to Subrosa for the Barking Moonbat link. At first glance at the link I thought it might have been a George Monbiot article.

Not evil, just wrong.

There are two two things in my life that I dearly want to see in the near future. (Many more hidden away in the dark closet of my mind. They'll have to wait for another day.)

Firstly, I want to see the Labour party consigned to the 9th circle of hell. That's it featured above. Hopefully, dismal enough for them.

Secondly I want to see those proponents who want to drive us back into the dark ages, with the ridiculous idea that we are the cause of climate change, hounded out of public life. In this reccession the last thing we need is money spent on an unproven theory, that will drive the developed nations into a spiralling circle of more debt. The more I hear "The science is settled", "There is a consensus", & the phrase, "Climate change denier", the higher my blood pressure gets.

Rant over for now. A vid that I've posted before.
