CACC

I was just watching the local news on the idiot box tonight and note that they are still giving undue prominence to the anti fracking protestors at Balcombe in Sussex. Now I know that quite a few of those protestors are from a group called The Campaign Against Climate Change (CACC).  As far as I can see this group are made up from left wing sociologists, green party activists, and naive idiots who believe that only they know what's best.

When you visit their site and read their "Who we are" page, you find, shock horror, that the most of them have little or no science training (WTF is a PGSE in Science, when it's at home?)
Of course though, all the guardian readers that flock to this blog  (Spits) will be overjoyed to find the Honorary chairman is their very own, *drum roll*, George Monbiot. When you look at the rest it's a gaggle of a mediocrity of people who have jumped onto a band wagon, and don't realise the wheels are falling off fast.

I really despair when I see people like this who don't seem to inhabit the real world that the rest of us live in, being so bloody stupid. If they want to live in yurts, eat tofu, and die of the cold in the winter, then they may do so. What I want is an energy supply that is reliable, affordable, and relatively clean. By achieving that we will enable our kids, and grand kids to survive. If we don't innovate, we die.

(Don't fucking dare mention bird mincers or solar panels).

Do buck up

I’m referring to the group from CACC (campaign against climate change). Look you lot, I signed up to your daily E mail report and haven’t had one for two days now.

I’m really looking forward to participating in your

RACE TO ZERO (CARBON by 2030!)

Organise a “Race to Zero” – with the finishing line at 2030 (as it were). There are lots of different ways to do this – it could be a real race (running, hopping, three-legged, egg-in-spoon etc) perhaps with sponsored participants, with it being as long or short as you like.

Or it could be more of a symbolic race, dress someone up as ‘Climate Apocalypse’ and race against them, or have ‘human wind turbines’ or ‘solar panels’ racing against coal-fired power stations, or oil industry bosses, or prominent skeptics.. The possibilities are endless.

How am I supposed to know what is being organised without regular contact? I intend to have a chat with George (George Monbiot, honorary president. AKA Moonbat), about your lack of zeal in keeping me up to speed.

And while you’re on about it. Can we have a little less “against change”. I would like a little change from torrential rain to a small barbecue summer. (Preferably Saturday). Not much to ask.

Popular posts

This blog has mixture of the serious, fun, and the odd bit of titillation.

However it is the articles that I write in my fight against wind turbines and other Ecoloon fuckwittery that sees my stats soar. On the back of that, my conclusion is that there’s  a very large portion of the population, (Home and abroad) that are coming around to the fact that they are being conned. ( I’ve yet to have an adverse comment).

I truly believe that the green agenda is an evil by a small powerful  minority, that have an almost religious belief that is so deluded, that they make Islam seem benign. (If I don’t post tomorrow it’s because I’ve been arrested for a religious hate crime).

One of the sites in question is Campaign against Climate change. (They send me an Email every day warning me of evil denier articles)

Here is a small part of one of their posts.

The streets of London rang to the sound of chants for "Climate Justice" on the Global Day of Action for the climate on Saturday 3rd December.  Marchers had gathered at the North end of Blackfriars Bridge where they were joined by a group from Christian Ecology Link coming from a Prayer meeting at St Mary le Bowe, a group of Buddhists coming from a meditation session at the tate Modern  - and a substantial contingent coming via a 'Walk of Shame' through the City from a Climate 'teach in' at the Occupy camp at St Paul's.  Placards demanding 'climate Justice' and dispaying  '7%' as a way of expressing the inequity of business as usal on climate change  (see below) peppered the crowd as it moved slowly down embankment before turning right down Horseguards Avenue into Whitehall.

Says it all really.

Unfortunately we have a government that believes this quackery so maybe us climate realists are in for the long slog.

Maybe I should be posting on health instead? After all, I wrote this post in a haze of tobacco smoke and at least two three four units of alcohol.

Climate sceptic, Me?

I am a sceptic of Anthropogenic Global warming, Human made climate change, and all the rest of the crap the Greenie leftists throw at us. I was pointed to a site some months ago that is populated by the usual frothing at the mouth, rabid Gaia worshipers . President, George Monbiot. Honorary Vice president, Caroline Lucas (Spit). The site is grandly titled “Campaign against Climate Change” (CCC), (spits again).

To cut along story short I subscribed to their mailing list. It really is pitiful. It doesn’t ever mention this blog. It hurts me deeply. After all I even E mailed them with links to here and here.

It would seem that they are going to have rallies in July all to be of a “submergence” theme. (That’s their title. I didn’t make it up).

More amusing though, is a photo-op involving people standing semi-submerged in water – holding a banner saying “Zero Carbon Britain before we drown”. One of the venues is “Here in London we are hoping to do this at an appropriate place in the River Thames. “

thames map edited 450

Well they wouldn’t be able to do that at high tide otherwise they’d drown(Mmmm), so they’ll have to do that at low tide. Have you seen the Thames at low tide? Well I assure you, dear readers, that they’d better come prepared with industrial strength washing materials, as they will be wallowing up to their waists in a sea of mud.

CACC. Get off your arses you lazy buggers.

The CACC (Campaign against climate change, Honorary President, George Monbiot), really are a lazy bunch. If they have such a popular organisation, complete with editorial staff. Why do they only manage one post every two months?

They even have a forum where the last contribution was 4th December 2010. I have a feeling that they are not getting the support as their once hyped , “We’re all doomed “, scenario has become old hat to the general populace, as more and more people are questioning the science behind the scam.

Here is their latest attempt to garner support. I wonder how many will attend. Maybe I should bolster the numbers.

Confronting the Climate Emergency in an era of "austerity"

1.00 pm - 6.00 pm, Room B04, Birkbeck University, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HX (map here)

Join us in discussing ...

  • What can we do to get the urgent action we need to confront the climate crisis during the coming  year?
  • What are the key considerations about the current political scene?  And the social and economic scene, media climate etc. etc.
  • Bullding the climate movement nationally and internationally.
  • Putting climate back at the heart of the national debate
  • Radical solutions / Building a Zero Carbon Britain / Million Climate Jobs
  • Concrete ideas for action.

Form groups with others with similar interests / ideas within the campaign.... to convert ideas into real action.

Get involved, learn from others, bring your ideas... get active in the fight against the greatest threat to humanity we've ever seen...

Point 1. Bugger all, The country has no money>

Point 2. I suppose you’ve got that twat Huhne as an ally.

Point 3. I think that you’ll find that the average man in the street has more to worry about in the financial climate gripping the world.

Point 4. Don’t make me larf. See Point 3.

Point 5. Build more nuclear power stations is the simple answer. A million climate jobs subsidised by the taxpayer is a drain on the economy that we can’t afford. Please read economy 101.

Point 6. Do nothing.

CACC. There you are. No need to travel and use up precious carbon getting there.

Damn Climate sceptics.

The other day I was just reading through one of James Delingpole’s climate blogs when I came across a reference by one of the regular commentators to CACC. As I read further I realised that this was a website set up to attempt to prevent discussion on various blogs, by have Trolls invade the sceptic blogs and try to mitigate the effects in the comments. This group calls themselves the Campaign against Climate Change and has a website to support warmists in disrupting discussion which doesn’t agree with their views on AGW.

What they do is send out regular E mails to those who subscribe, on who are the most evil sceptics of the moment Well I must admit I couldn’t resist subscribing, just to see what I would receive.

Below is what I received in my E mail today and I was surprised that all it was, was a list of a few blog posts. I thought at least as a “paid up” (supposedly) member I would get some hint of  what I should be posting on these evil denier blogs. The pitiful offering is below:

Included was a small précis of each which I wont bother you with.

I’m just wondering if I’ll ever get on their esteemed list. (Note  to self: Must try harder).

And the icing on the cake is…………………………………..

George Monbiot is their President.

They don’t seem to have a comment facility on their blogs, but I see that they have a Forum. In that case I shall have to break out my secret weapon.
