Worrying

This video dates back from April. It shows the British Type 23 Frigate, Iron Duke, firing warning shots near an Iranian speed boat in the Gulf as it turned to close the frigate. One day soon there could be a serious incident.

The shots were fired  probably from a GPMG and not the Mk 48 mini gun pictured. These events are becoming more prevalent.

  1. Fair enough, could have been a suicide skiff.

  2. Frankly I'd prefer to see more of that than hear naval crew whinging about who the Iranians stole an IPOD!

    Very suspicious Banned ..

Particularly as they were using a fairly flimsy, enclosed-hull speed boat, rather than the more usual, heavily-armed Swedish-built Boghammers ..

Sounded very much like a GPMG, FE ..

The way the gunner was getting short, controlled bursts away, down range ..

  4. It certainly wasn't the mini gun or a 20mm. I wish they'd used the 4.5 inch though.
