Latest from NASA on “Climate change”.

NASA may have stopped throwing big flaming things into the sky, but still does some very useful work if, this is anything to go by,

New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

And

Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA's Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA's Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models.

Summed up here.

When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a "huge discrepancy" between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are.

Now what will DECC and that Buffoon Huhne, have to say now I wonder? The wheels are fast coming off the wagon.

  1. Oh no!

It's not (just) Global Warming, it's now Anthropogenic Universal Warming.

    The end is even nigh-er.

  2. Humans are but a flea on the back of the elephant that is the Earth. To imagine that we have any real impact on our globe is self-importance of the utmost order. In the history of the world, we are but the most fleeting micro-second in the broad sweep of things.

The world has heated up and cooled down over cycles that take hundreds of millions of years, driven by forces we can only speculate on. Fairly soon (in geological terms) it will cool again and man will most likely be driven to extinction, unless he escapes into space first. And the world will continue to turn, heated by the sun, until that eventually dies as well.

  3. Just try making some of the idiots in the green movement understand that. It's like pushing water uphill.

  4. Since NASA has run out of work it is perhaps surprising that it not on the climate change bandwaggon.

This is most welcome, but I fear that the damage has already been done. Huhne might be the biggest cunt on the planet (and he may yet do his porridge) but I view the liklihood of all this nonsense being repealed as being at best remote. The agenda has been clear to me from the get-go. Even NASA evidence will not deter morons like Monbiot.

  6. Huhne will say nothing.

    Nothing will change.

The bandwagon will roll on unchanged.

It will be as is this never happened.

    (Just like Climategate.)

    Anyone disagreeing? Thought not.

  7. The BBC don't seem to have picked up this story. How odd.
