Don’t drink and fly.
Take one drunken redkneck and one light aircraft………………………………………..
All is not as it seems. Damn good piloting though. Watch till the end.
Brilliant bit of "Crazy" flying - I've watched it many times and it's part of my collection. Makes you wonder why so many pilots claim taildraggers like the Cub are difficult to take off & land. Hell, some of them can't even manage it on a grass runway, let alone cornering with two wheels and a wingtip on tarmac!
Why it was left running without chocks or somebody inside is another matter...
This guy shows that even 2,400 hp, twin engined, 12 ton taildraggers can be entertaining.
At one point, where the aircraft was flying, straight & level .. towards the camera, it put me in mind of the old Lysander used by the Crabs during WWII to ferry SOE agents into/out of occupied Europe ..
Anyone else remember the BBC TV Drama "Moon Squadron" ? ..
Cracking good flying. :-D
