Most people will gasp with horror at the thought. However in the long run I think that it would be the best course of action.
Yes it would mean great hardship in the coming months, and shame when the IMF is eventually called in to sort out the financial mess.
But if it means another election which sweeps labour down into the ninth circle of hell, then I'm in favour.
The only problem could be their last bit of legislation tinkering with the voting system to make sure no matter what happens, the Tories can never get back into power without the backup of one or the other.

ReplyDeleteThis is the best news possible, snotty and little nicky smooching ,the euro backed by itself, the pound in freefall. The revolution is nigh
But it would take a while to sort it out. I can't see that they would have the time to pass the leglislation before their mismangement of the economy blows them out of the water.
ReplyDeleteBring it on indeed. It will likely end in tears; but it would also mean that never again would the Tories hold a parliamentary majority and blight the lives of millions of fair-and just-minded people. Bring it on!! I pray.
