Scum

It beggars belief that he shows no remorse.

Vile product of Welfare UK: Man who bred 17 babies by five women to milk benefits system is guilty of killing six of them

He treated his 17 sons and daughters like cash cows – generating a staggering benefits income of £60,000 a year.

Yesterday, Mick Philpott remained shameless to the last.

The drug-taking layabout, who embodies everything that is wrong with the welfare state, was still smiling even after being convicted of killing six of his children.

  3. What is there to say? However you look at this it was a tragedy. The little ones who perished in such a dreadful way are the ones we should be feeling for; everything else is just window-dressing.

"The drug-taking layabout, who embodies everything that is wrong with the welfare state"

I don't believe the behavior of this individual is typical for any person, there are laws set up against illegal drugs, fraud and murder. I would have thought you would have been immune to this sort of divide and conquer type branding of opinions.

For example; underage drunken baseball cap, hoodie wearing teenagers are able to buy alcohol and cigarets and go on to vandalize local areas, so this must be why alcohol and cigarets must be heavily taxed or even banned, even though there are laws that make vandalism illegal and under age smoking, drinking off-limits for teenagers and it is not typical behavior of teenagers anyway.

If you'd like to discuss the system, between you, me and your readers, I'm sure we could come up with some great ideas on how to fix the system, but lets not go down the road of unfairly lumping hundreds of thousands into a bracket by stereotyping and branding people.

    Fair enough comment?
