How to track illegal immigrants.

cow3

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Appleby over 20 years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the county of Cumbria?

And, they even tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 125,000 illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

Just the ramblings of a madman.

  2. I'm not sure that human rights rules would allow the fitting of a large yellow ear tag?

  4. As one does with any livestock, in order to prevent their ingress into a particular paddock, one closes the appropriate gate.
Can't we in the UK simply shut the gate? Every other country appears to have this facility.

  6. Well, if you're going to ear-tag them, why not just shoot them with a tranquilizer dart and release them into the wild? ;-)

BTW--if you update my address in the blogroll to http://sonofsoylentgreen.wordpress.com you'll get updates more recent than 10 months ago. ;-)
