  1. Q:-

What's the difference between "grossly offensive" & 'abhorrent'?

    A:-

About 80 days, in clink, if you're a white, anglo-saxon male.

    Both should face equal punishment

  2. Whereas I think neither should face any punishment for publishing something which is a matter of opinion and comment, none of the state's business no matter whom they upset.

I'm very offended by the mere existence of Vince Cable. Any chance of them sticking him in jail? No such luck.

They can't even get Mr Speedy Gonzales Huhne in to court in less than geological time, but they've got time to run round prosecuting jokes they don't much like.

  3. We all know that it is "thought-crime" to be rude about black people, disabled people and women people but since when was that extended to "people who we are supposed to feel sorry for but are probably dead"?

Of course things weren't helped by this knob pleading guilty (probably expecting a ticking off)and getting the full whack from a compliant magistrate.
