Additional Cruise Line Services
OUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE !
We guarantee you will experience at least two hijacking attempts by pirates or you'll receive an instant $1,000 refund upon arrival in Mombasa .
How can we make that guarantee ? We operate at 5 knots just beyond 12 nautical miles off the coast of Somalia, thus in international waters where pirates have no rights whatever. In fact, we make three passes through the area's most treacherous waters to ensure maximum visibility by Somali mother ships. We repeat this for five days, making three complete passes past the entire Somali Coast. At night, the boat is fully lit and bottle buckets are shot every five minutes, with loud disco music directionally beamed shore side to attract maximum attention.

"I haven't had this much fun since Flying choppers in 'Nam ."
Don't worry about getting shot by pirates... they never even got close to the ship. With the crap they shoot and their lousy aim...
"Come on board and bag your own clutch of genuine Somali pirates !"
Ah if only! I need to win the lottery for that one. Having been to a number of ports in the area some 30 years ago for bunkers, getting my own back would be nice.
ReplyDeleteOn my last trip at sea we spent weeks off that coast hoping to encounter pirates. No such luck. However I did have a go with the Mk48 mini gun. Now that really gives you a buzz.
ReplyDeleteDo you sell season tickets - It would be a cruise of a lifetime - Cheers FE, fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAh a disintegrating belt fed 7.62 firing about 700 rounds a minute. I prefer the idea of a pair of Dillon Gatling M134 guns at 6000 rpm each. Trouble is carrying that amount of ammo.
ReplyDeleteDo you think the word verification for this post of "reecons" (reconnaissance) is a little bit of a coincidence.
Daedalus
Sadly not far off the truth...
ReplyDeleteLast year I was drifting across the Pacific when one of the expedition team gave a spoof presentation along these lines while announcing that the company would not be travelling the Seychelles-East Africa route for the next couple of years due to piracy s if you fancy a cruise to Aldabra then tough luck.
Doubly tought luck for him as he is Seychellois.
There goes the neighbourhood!!
Erm, have you any idea when the 20mm Oerlikon KAA option becomes available? Also, will there be the option of incendiary ammunition every 5 rounds per load belt with the HE-1 load?
ReplyDeleteGreat one, FE.
ReplyDeleteAnother idea could be selling berths on a Q-ship.

What puzzles me a little is quite why there are so many Somalis in the UK.
I actually wanted to write down a brief comment in order to thank you for the lovely ways you are showing here. My extended internet research has now been paid with reasonable know-how to go over with my company.
