I’ve just downloaded a copy of the “Delinquent teenager who was mistaken for the world's top climate expert”, by Donna Laframboise.
If you, like me, are a climate change sceptic (and if you do believe in AGW you’ll be shocked, and maybe slightly worried and may question your beliefs), then her book is well worth a read. She doesn’t go into long technical discussions. That isn’t the purpose of the book. Instead she takes the IPCC decision making process apart, and tears it to shreds. This is a book you should send to your Member of Parliament so they might see how the wool has been pulled over their eyes.

FE, I take exception to the phrase "climate change sceptic".
ReplyDeleteThere are Warmists & Realists in this world. I'm proud to be one of the latter.
I think I can go further Joe. I'm one of those hated denialists.
ReplyDeleteThe more I've seen over the last few years has changed my attitude to Climate change.
David Attenborough has just been on the telly telling us that we are all doomed.Still, where I live in the Lake District 12000 years ago was covered by a mile thick sheet of ice. Man had nothing to do with that disappearing, but someone must be to blame. It must have been the Mammoths lighting all those fires.
ReplyDeleteI must disagree, johna2008 - It was NOT the Mammoths lighting all those fires.
ReplyDeleteIt WAS all those Mammoths driving all those SUV's.
If bovine flatulence contributes about 25 percent of greenhouse gases, it stands to reason that mammoth farts were responsible for the previous global warming and ultimately their own extinction.
ReplyDeleteBecause I can, I intend to stop using my electric and gas heaters and cookers and maintain a smokey wood fire for cooking, warmth and hot water. I will keep a solar hot water heater because, for me, they are very efficient most of the year. The smokey fire will be my backup.
I'm sick of these global warming extremists.
