Rally against debt

Hundreds of protesters gathered opposite the Houses of Parliament yesterday in support of government spending cuts.

The protest was organised in response to anti-cuts demonstrations in March, which saw hundreds of thousands of people take to the street across the country.

Around 350 people attended the event in Westminster, according to the Metropolitan Police.

It was organised by Rally Against Debt, a new protest group, and attended by an alliance of right-wing activists including the TaxPayers' Alliance (TPA) and the UK Independence Party (Ukip).

Well done to all those that were able to attend. You made the papers. Hopefully this is just the beginning and more people will see the sense in this movement. Maybe this could be the start of TeapartyUKTM

  1. Looked for a report on the BBC to see how (un)seriously they were taking it. You have to go onto the "England" news page and it's already nearly falling of as the bottom story, and it's filled with quotes from the Unions.

  2. Thanks for that. The Bbc are quite pathetic in their coverage. But then the left wing mindset won't allow them any other way.

  3. I wish I could have been there but there was no way I could afford the trip to London.
The Facebook page linked to a story in the Guardian (I think you linked to it earlier too) and I was gutted reading the comments from the lefties.
It made me want to up sticks right now and leave the country reading all those comments about how the rich should be made to pay for all the stuff that they all want.
It's shameful what Labour have turned this country into

BBC = Blair, Brown & Cameron .. the three biggest fuck-ups in modern British history ..

They all suffer from Helioproctosis, the congenital affliction, which caused/causes them to believe that the sun shines out of their arses ..
