They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ...
Why don't we just give them ours? It was drawn up by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for centuries and we're not using it anymore.
Just a thought.

As I understand it, Britain does not actually have a written constitution?

As Anon indicates, un-codified rather than unwritten. But I suspect the quote's American anyway (which doesn't make it less true).
